Many, many more opportunities for RMTI graduates due to the thousands of new condominium and rental units being built.
*Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood – 23 new towers mostly in the 20-storey range which would provide roughly 3,000 living units, mostly for renters.
*Broadway plan – more than 120 building proposals – roughly 20,000 new units – almost all residential towers, some as high as 35 storeys, have already been approved or proposed.
*Across Metro Vancouver – there are currently 76 confirmed skyscraper projects completed, under construction, or proposed.
*Fraser Valley, Victoria, Nanaimo and the Okanagan – there are also many more projects being built or in the pipeline
All these new projects open up many, many new jobs for RMTI graduates!
Most of these new projects (and many existing ones) have recreational equipment such as pools, spas, hot tubs and jacuzzies.
This also opens up more opportunities for RMTI graduates who have completed the CSPO – Certified Swimming Pool Operator course.
